Since the Phende Clinic became officially registered last year, preparations have been underway for a fully functioning lab in order to provide basic pathology services that would otherwise require a few hours drive into the city. Having met all government requirements the lab is now ready for use and an opening ceremony was held May 8th.
The Phende Clinic has ongoing operational expenses, which include the purchase of medicines and medical supplies, as well as salaries for our local hired clinical staff.
