Free Medical Camp in the Tsum Valley

Writer's picture: NBF CanadaNBF Canada

Health care workers from the Thrangu Phende Clinic and Tara Abbey Clinic offered a 3 day free medical camp in the Lower Tsum Valley, Gorka. More than 300 patients were treated in this remote region. This medical camp was sponsored by the Thrangu Vajrayana Buddhist Centre in Hong Kong.

The Thrangu Phende Clinic has ongoing operational expenses, which include the purchase of medicines and medical supplies, as well as salaries for our local hired doctors and acupuncture nurse. By making a donation to support the Clinic, you can help us to continue to provide essential medical help to the local villagers as well as the monks at the monastery.
