SMD School Updates
Innovation, Technical and Vocational Training (ITVT) Center
Innovation, Technical and Vocational Training (ITVT) Center at SMD School was inaugurated on 31st August 2026. ITVT would provide students to gain practical skills alongside academic education and explore innovation. The establishment of the ITVT Center marks an important steps beyond the classroom - gain practical skills, digital knowledge, creativity, and the confidence to apply what they learn in real life. ITVT Center aims to provide hands-on training in areas such as electrical installation, plumbing, graphic design, sewing, coding and robotics, innovation and makerspace, and carpentry. ITVT is established to provide space where students can learn, grow, discover their potential, and build skills that can open new opportunities for themselves and their communities. We are deeply grateful to everyone whose support and encouragement has helped make this vision possible.
Very Exciting News!
What a proud moment for SMD School and the entire community of Thrangu family. In the movie TENZING, three students from SMD School were featured, one of them playing the role of young Tenzing.
