Celebrations in honor of Thrangu Rinpoche’s 86th birthday were held at all the monasteries and at SMD Boarding School.
At Vajra Vidya Institute in Sarnath, the morning began with a processional, followed by a mandala offering, morning puja and hearty debate. There was a special lunch, birthday cake and tea in the afternoon, and the night was filled with light!
