The girls shower is completed and already well used. There is a schedule of usage, organized by time, day and age group. There are 8 shower taps that can be used simultaneously and the room captains help the younger girls. Cold water showers have been the norm no matter the time of year but that has recently changed. Two rows of solar panels and tanks have recently been installed on the roof of the dorm opposite the shower building. Now warm water is funnelled to the bath house, ensuring better health, especially in the winter! Installation was overseen by Tsering Palden, a monk manager at SMD School.
