Tara Abbey Pilgrimmage

Writer's picture: NBF CanadaNBF Canada

45 nuns who are not in Shedra, recently went on pilgrimage to Chumig Jangchub, in Daman, about 4 hours southwest of Kathmandu. Translated as "Spring of Enlightenment', this is a place where Guru Rinpoche meditated. The group did prayers and practice and enjoyed taking some photos. Courtesy of Khenpo Chonyi, we have a photo of the oldest Tara Abbey nun and the youngest with the retreat lama of Chumig Jangchub.
